THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THESE MONSTERS, FOR WHAT THEY DID TO THIS POOR ANIMALS IN THE UK. LET'S HOPE THEY'LL NEVER FIND PEACE ANYWHERE! “What happened to Baby the bulldog will stay with me, and all of us who worked on this case, forever.” ~ RSPCA Inspector Gemma Lynch, March 2016 - Five years ago this month two drug-addled brothers from #Redcar were convicted of animal cruelty in relation to their prolonged sadistic torture of a placid British bulldog named Baby. The entire incident was captured on mobile phone and came to light 18 months later when a dropped SD card was discovered on the floor of a supermarket. In footage the RSPCA described as the cruellest they'd ever witnessed, elder brother Andrew Frankish is seen hurling the terrified dog repeatedly from top to bottom of a steep flight of stairs while squealing in delight.
Another clip shows a giggling Frankish holding Baby above his head, before asking: “Should I?”
He does not wait for an answer but throws the dog down the stairs with an awful thump as she tumbles.
Later, he pile-drives the dog head first on the ground before bouncing on her like a trampoline.
The onslaught continues as Frankish head-butts Baby and stamps on her head and chest while his equally vile sidekick – younger brother Daniel Frankish – is heard saying: “See if we can make it scream any more. We should throw it down the stairs by its ears…"
In March 2016 the pair were given suspended prison sentences and curfews, along with a lifetime ban on keeping animals. That ban can be appealed after 20 years.
RSPCA inspector Gemma Lynch said: “She is totally submissive throughout, not even making a noise when she lands on the stairs, bouncing to the foot of them where there is a baby gate which she crashes into before hitting the ground.
“Frankish is saying things like ‘one, two, three’ before hurling her down them. He is clearly enjoying himself. He’s laughing and smiling. The whole horrible ordeal seems to be for his and the younger man’s entertainment, for fun.
“One clip shows him stamping on her neck repeatedly at the bottom of the stairs, then picking her up and throwing her to the ground with force over and over again. He’s laughing hysterically.
“Another clip shows him standing on Baby’s chest with his full body weight at the top of the stairs, before jumping up and down on her. This is the only time you hear her make a noise, and she is crying throughout.
“The younger man [Daniel Frankish] says, ‘See if we can make it scream any more. We should throw it down the stairs by its ears’, before Frankish picks her up against the wall and head-butts her twice, then throws her down the stairs again.”
For Baby, the footage came to light too late.
Inspector Lynch said: “We found out during the interview that Baby, who was a family pet, was put to sleep around three months after the video was recorded after losing the use of her back legs.
“What happened to her will stay with me, and all of us who worked on this case, forever.”

Update on Andrew and Daniel Frankish. the pair of them fled their home in Southampton Street, Redcar. in the aftermath of the case along with their hapless mother who claimed her sons' cruelty was down to drugs that had left them "f**ed in the head". All three have new names and the brothers are currently living together in Stockton-on-Tees.
