Kool old foto of a 1914 Harley Davidson twin wreck.Hard to say what happened, handlebars are
bent up like conduit but front wheel looks ok, rear cylinder looks like its snapped off.
Where? unknown....its dated 1914 but you can also see the shifter on top of the gas tank that makes it a 1914, and the floorboards start in 1914.
If you have some old fotos of bikes, send them to me to post...

Todd's 1908 Indian Camel-back single
I'd love to bullshit your ass , and say i got this at a yard sale and gave the old-timer a gallon of scotch.....but i'd be lieing...
Todds original paint 1908 Indian camel-back, Indian and HD started in 1903,
5 years into motorbike building after bicycles . looks like a motoryzed bicycle,
i've got to learn production numbers,its 2010 now ...a 102 year old motorbike...thats old.
To me all true Indian motorcycles come from Springfield, the copies are very nice indeed and remind me of the phrase "imitation is thee sincerest form of flattery" .
Heres a original paint 1929-31 era Four gas tanker..with the original Indian decal. The modern knockoff decals are nice but they just dont capture the originals look. 1 gas cap for gas only, no shared compartment for oil.
.............if you want to sell a cool indian, contact me first...

Gorgious Ferrari Enzo
I dont think the folks at Ferrari had to go to the Italian government to get a pile of bailout cash (the new Welfare)and $100 million dollar bonuses for do-nothing executives to build cars like this.then stick the bill to you and your great grandchildren... What do you think?
i know the blog is old bikes, old cars but these are just too kool. i think i'd live in my car if my car looked like this and not some derelict van...
Italian styled motorcycles in Castlenuovo Italy..Aldo Querio Gianetto
Heres just a few of Aldo Querio Gianetto 's bikes made in CastleNuovo Italy, a friend in Turin sent me the link , Italians have a tremendous sense of style in everything..
its near Milan in Northern Italy.
even in 2010 leafspring forks originally designed by Indian are still liked.
For some reason blogger is down and i cant load more fotos, be sure to check out the link, great machines, its not a big deal buying and selling bikes overseas.
Blogger is working again and here are a few of Aldo Querio Gianetto 's stable of bikes, you can go buy one and cruise down the Amalfi Coast to Naples.

What the fucks in China or Greenland ?The maps are so sophisticated one can ID the visitors IP adress and exact location, how CIA is that?

Heres a antique foto of the same era bike.
Thats a really large intake manifold, HDs have the manifold lower , not at the top .and some really long push rods, no push rod tube covers, oil tank behind the rear cylinder vs above. Note the horizontal positioning of the spark plugs.

2 1915 Harley Davidson motorcycles
Here are 2 very nice Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Close up on the alemite screw on grease zirks.
Note the last year for round stock fender brackets, 1916 and up go w the flat channel fender brackets.
Note the last year for round stock fender brackets, 1916 and up go w the flat channel fender brackets.
Look close at the speedo, you can read the Harley Davidson logo! and "oil" on cap for the oil side.
Even the original seat has the Harley Davidson bar and shield, how kool is that?
Acetyline tanker to run the headlight and taillight.
Presto-lite acetylene gas tanker gauge on tanker and some unique passenger footboards.
Non-Skid script on the tire tread...

One can also run the later small 3 bolt Linkert m16s and m18s to improve fuel delivery over the original issue Scheblers as this owner has.
Also here you can see the flat 1 year only shifter to accomodate the last years flat side tanks. 1915 is the last year for the small wine cork size gas caps. Was that to coincide w larger gas nozzles? at the gas station.
Dan wanted me to be sure to mention Terry Marsh of Oregon for helping him get his 1915 going w many rare hard to find parts, Terry has helped me out w my 1915 also. Great guy who I can consider an expert on 1915 HDs among others.
Thank you Dan and Damon for letting me run some great fotos on your bikes.
Production of singles and twins for 1915 are 16,645 motorbikes, heres 2 of them.
If you have a 1915 send me a foto to post....
